World Centric compostable 6" knife, fork and spoon cutlery are made from PLA (polymer made from plants) and Talc (mineral filler). The cutlery kit includes an unbleached post consumer recycled napkin. These utensils are certified compostable in a commercial facility, which may not exist in your area. The utensils may be washed in a dishwasher for reuse. The wrapper is also made from PLA and is compostable.
