This heavy nickel plated masher makes short work of a big bowl potatoes, root vegetables or fruit needs that need crushing. The heavier material.takes some of the elbow grease out of the equation while the hardwood handle leaves a good grip for long term use. The long 24" handle makes mashing into a deep dish easier and the square size helps cover more ground. The coils are close enough together to get a good mash but are still easy to clean.
